Pizzato
Pizzato Elettrica is a leading Italian manufacturer with over fifty years of experience in the development and production of industrial safety switches, limit switches, position sensors and safety modules. With a catalog of 1,849 products, Pizzato offers one of the most comprehensive portfolios of safety components for the manufacturing industry, food processing, chemical industry and semiconductor fabrication.
Pizzato safety switches are specifically designed to comply with the most stringent international standards, including EN ISO 13849, IEC 62061 and the European Machinery Directive. These switches are deployed for monitoring functions on machine doors, safety gates, guards and access panels. They are available with positive opening action, ensuring reliable interruption of the safety circuit even under difficult conditions or mechanical blockage.
Pizzato limit switches are widely used for position detection and travel limiting in moving machine components. The robust aluminum and thermoplastic housings provide excellent protection against dust, liquids and mechanical shock in accordance with IP67 and IP69K ratings. Actuator types include plunger actuators, lever actuators, roller levers and various adjustable actuator configurations for specific installation requirements.
Pizzato sensors cover a broad spectrum of detection methods: inductive proximity sensors, magnetic sensors and optoelectronic sensors for non-contact position monitoring. Inductive sensors detect metallic targets without contact with adjustable switching distances, while magnetic sensors are particularly suitable for use in explosive ATEX hazardous zones. The Pizzato VITAL safety controller platform integrates multiple safety modules into a single compact system for centralized monitoring.
At Verkopershulp.nl you will find the complete Pizzato range with direct availability and expert technical support. Our specialists assist you in selecting the correct safety switches for your application, taking into account the required safety category (PLe/SIL3), environmental conditions and installation space. All Pizzato products are supplied with original certificates and technical documentation.
History
Pizzato Elettrica was founded in 1967 in Piovene Rocchette, in the Vicenza region of Northern Italy. The company started as a specialist manufacturer of industrial limit switches and built its reputation through innovative mechanical designs and high production quality. In the 1980s, Pizzato expanded its range with safety switches meeting the emerging European safety directives. During the 1990s and 2000s the company grew further with the introduction of electronic safety modules and RFID-coded safety systems. Today Pizzato exports to more than one hundred countries and has an extensive distribution network across Europe, North America and Asia. The company holds ISO 9001 certification and all products are manufactured and tested in accordance with current EN/IEC standards for safety-related control systems.
