Danfoss
Danfoss is a Danish international company regarded as a world leader in energy-efficient solutions for refrigeration, heating, drive technology, industrial automation, and hydraulic systems. With over 85 years of experience and operations in more than 100 countries, Danfoss delivers products and systems that reduce energy consumption, increase productivity, and support sustainable infrastructure.
The Danfoss range is broad: VACON NX and VLT series frequency inverters (0.37 to 22,000 kW) for energy-efficient motor control, EX and MSG series refrigeration control valves for cooling systems and heat pumps, AVTA and AVPQ thermostats for heating systems, hydraulic pumps and motors (Danfoss Power Solutions), BITZER and Turbocor turbo compressors, and an extensive line of thermostatic fittings for building installations.
Danfoss VLT frequency inverters are particularly popular in the pump and fan industry: by dynamically adapting motor speed to actual demand, VLT drives typically save 30-60% energy compared to uncontrolled motors. Integrated HVAC functions (sleep mode, bypass, PID flow control) greatly simplify installation in air handling systems.
Danfoss Power Solutions (formerly Sauer-Danfoss) supplies hydraulic open and closed-circuit piston pumps (Series 42, 45, 90), hydraulic motors, proportional valves, and electronic control systems for mobile hydraulics in heavy off-road vehicles, agricultural machines, and industrial applications.
At Verkopershulp.nl we carry over 2,511 genuine Danfoss parts, including frequency inverter modules, refrigeration control valves, thermostats, hydraulic components, and control modules. As an authorized distributor we guarantee fast delivery and technical advice.
History
Danfoss was founded in 1933 by Mads Clausen in Nordborg, Denmark. The company began producing thermostat valves for refrigeration systems. This product laid the foundation for Danfoss' long-term focus on energy-efficient solutions for cooling and heating systems. In the 1950s Danfoss expanded into heating control components and became a European leader in hydraulic heating systems. From the 1960s to the 1980s Danfoss diversified into industrial electronic drive technology with the introduction of its first frequency inverters. The acquisition of Sauer Inc. in 2000 (hydraulic transmissions for mobile machines) was a milestone that transformed Danfoss into a broad industrial group encompassing hydraulics, electronics, and refrigeration technology. Today Danfoss has approximately 40,000 employees and annual revenues exceeding €10 billion. Following the acquisition of Eaton's hydraulic division in 2021, Danfoss Power Solutions is one of the largest providers of hydraulic systems for mobile machines worldwide. The company is investing heavily in decarbonization solutions, green hydrogen, and energy transition technologies.
